Foreign / International bank cards doesn’t work there at all. So it’s advised to have enough cash to pay everything hotel, food, transportation, entrance fees and when you go shopping.
After a lot of solo travels, I realized by renting a car, it would give me more comfort and accessibility when traveling, since there is not much transportation on this island, in less than an hour, you already reach the other side of the island, plus some parts of the islands don’t have roads at all.
