Valletta is the capital of Malta. And is very well-known for his small streets as well for their famous ” doors ” and ” balconies ” as you can see in the back. When you are there you will understand why it’s considered by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.

Valletta has a population of 7000 people. It’s not even the biggest city in Malta. In the European Union, Valletta is thรฉ smallest capital.

In Malta they speak 2 languages: Maltese and English. One of the other ‘ interesting ‘ facts about Malta is that they drive on the LEFT side of the road and there is no highroad there, the maximum speed they drive is 80 km/h. In 1815 Malta became a British colony, so that’s why one of the official languages is English and why they drive on the left side of the road.

Since 5900 B.C. they were people living on Malta.

More than 165 countries have a bigger population than Malta.

Malta is the 10th smallest country in the world.
