The Moais, these world famous statues, there on this desolated island, somewhere in the Pacific Ocean, between Australia and the South American continent.

To get there, you need to take a flight of almost 5 hours.
This place was last year added on my bucketlist and this trip, 3 friends joined me to visit Easter Island with me.
We had to fly first all the way from Roma to Santiago de Chile and then from Santiago de Chile to Isla de Pascua.

Once you have visited a place that was on your bucketlist, you realize it’s possible to make some of your dreams come true.

To see this famous line of Moais, we got up really early, like 5:00 a.m., to get with our rental car to get to the other side of the island, to be there when the sun rises.

More of this island journey will be posted later…
